Position: Secretary General
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the MUN conference.
- Coordinate with the Secretariat and various committees to ensure smooth conference operations.
- Develop the conference agenda and oversee the creation of background guides and briefing materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for delegates, advisors, and staff.
- Facilitate opening and closing ceremonies, as well as key conference sessions.
- Ensure adherence to the conference schedule and handle any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
- Promote the conference and assist in recruitment efforts to attract delegates and sponsors.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Recruitment and formation of the Timun Conference Board in collaboration with the Timun Society Board
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Model United Nations, with previous leadership roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the UN system.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
