Position: Academics Committee Member
1. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
As a member of the TiMUN Academics Committee, you will:
- Support the Directors of Academics and Chairs in organising Model United Nations (MUN) committee sessions and one-day conferences.
- Oversee the planning and logistical execution of educational content for workshops and events.
- Ensure each workshop and conference is well-structured to deepen participants' understanding of UN procedures and diplomatic strategies.
2. Skills and Experience Required:
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- Skills:
- Ability to conduct thorough research on global political issues and UN procedures.
- Proficiency in presenting research findings and ideas clearly.
- Experience working effectively with other committee members and chairs.
- Strong command of English for effective communication.
- Experience as a delegate or in a supporting role in Model United Nations (MUN) is preferable.
- Background in researching and compiling information on political topics is prerable.
